Sous Chef– Crawford’s Social Westlake Village, CA Crawford’s Social is looking for a
Sous Chef
to help lead our kitchen team and continue pushing standards forward. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and takes real pride in consistency, organization, and execution. We’re not looking for someone to just“run a shift.” We’re looking for someone who can
own their kitchen, develop people, and elevate the product every day. What You’ll Be Responsible For Leading service with urgency, clarity, and control Maintaining food quality and consistency across all dayparts Supporting and developing the kitchen team Managing prep, pars, ordering, and inventory Ensuring stations are clean, organized, and set up for success Working closely with ownership and management on menu development and executionUpholding systems, processes, and accountability across the kitchen What We’re Looking For 3+ years experience in a Sous Chef or strong Kitchen Manager role High standards— you notice when things aren’t right and fix them immediately Strong leadership presence— calm under pressure, direct, and fair Organized and systems-driven (we don’t run chaotic kitchens) Ability to manage volume without sacrificing quality Team-first mentality with a focus on development and accountability Why Crawford’s Social Growing concept with real opportunity for advancement Leadership team that invests in systems, training, and people High-volume environment that will sharpen your skillset quickly Creative input on menu and kitchen operations Competitive pay based on experience Expectations Busy or not busy— standards don’t change.
