Job: 3034629 Job Description: Document Control Support Location: Tualatin, Oregon (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract Role Overview This position supports the Document Control Team during construction projects, which involve frequent changes and updates to building plans. The role focuses on drawing, designing, reading, and explaining plans within AutoCAD. The successful candidate will work independently, support multiple stakeholders with strong communication and organizational skills, and manage reports from SharePoint. Key Responsibilities Draw, design, read, and explain construction and facility plans using AutoCAD. Maintain site plans, building drawings (electrical, mechanical, piping), evacuation maps, and fire riser maps. Manage a centralized document management system, including electronic and physical files. Incorporate project close-out files into as-built documents and update CAD drawings from construction and engineering teams. Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to confirm and update plans. Perform field audits to verify drawing accuracy and update drawings from field measurements. Work with stakeholders to create detailed drawings from sketches, layouts, or notes. Utilize Tririga for receiving work order requests and logging status updates. Required Qualifications Education: A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, design, or a similar field, or equivalent work experience. Experience: A minimum of two years of experience as an AutoCAD designer/drafter, including college projects or internships, with the ability to work independently. A construction background is strongly desired. Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Candidates should also have a working knowledge of Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings is necessary. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Revit is considered a nice-to-have skill.
