Electrical Designer, Ohio

ITS has a client in the Perrysburg, OH area seeking an Electrical Designer.  This is a direct hire position with great benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

 

Project Planning & Execution: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from conceptual design through detailed design, documentation, and handover to the construction team.

Scope Management: Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Design and Technical:

Design Expertise: Apply advanced knowledge of electrical design principles, codes, and standards to develop and review electrical designs (NEC, UL508A, safety).

Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to the team, addressing questions, troubleshooting issues, and resolving design conflicts.

Staying Current: Keep abreast of the latest technologies, industry trends, and best practices in electrical design.

Job Qualifications:

Associates degree in Electrical Design or related field.

5+ years of electrical design experience at a system integration company

2+ years in a leadership or project management role.

In-depth knowledge of NEC, UL508A, and relevant electrical codes/standards.

Proficiency with electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical).

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and deadlines.

Strong communication skills and the ability to interface with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
