Who We're Looking For We are looking for attorneys who are: Passionate about advocating for employeesEmpathetic, client-focused, and emotionally intelligent Strong communicators and persuasive advocates Hardworking, organized, and self-motivated Eager to develop litigation, deposition, and trial skills Able to thrive in a fast-moving environment Employment law experience is a plus, but it is not required. We care far more about drive, judgment, work ethic, and commitment to helping people than GPA or class rank.Responsibilities Meet with clients to discuss their claims Assess cases involving discrimination, sexual harassment, FMLA, overtime disputes, and wrongful termination Manage the claims procedure and litigation process efficiently Participate in negotiations for settlements Maintain regular communication with staff and managers to coordinate appointments and discussionsPrepare necessary legal documents such as notice of claims, EEOC charges, and state charge forms Collaborate with EEOC investigators to provide evidence and support for cases Qualifications The position of an Employee's Rights Attorney in Independence, OH, US requires a Juris Doctorate for considerationCandidates should either possess a current license to practice law or be in the process of awaiting Ohio bar results Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential attributes for the ideal candidate for this role A crucial requirement for this position is the ability to demonstrate empathy towards clientsAdvanced time management skills are necessary for effectively multitasking, organizing, and prioritizing work Compensation $65,000 - $95,000 yearly About Spitz, The Employee's Law Firm Spitz, The Employee's Law Firm is strictly an employment law litigation firm.
