Job Purpose

EX3 Sr. Financial Analyst (Reporting & Analytics) 

American Honda Finance Corporation (AHFC) is currently seeking Sr Financial Analyst for our Treasury Capital Market division.   This position supports the issuance of debt and derivatives at the finance company to support the sales of American Honda Motor (AHM) and the timely and accurate preparation of all internal and external reporting of debt activity and portfolio performance for AHFC which includes accurate reporting in Treasury systems. This position also supports SOX, debt compliance and other regulatory requirements associated with our debt programs. 

Key Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities will include but are not limited to

 

•    Create various monthly and quarterly reports (including debt reports, interest expense analysis, AHFC COD analysis, FAS 157 reporting, MOR, ABS reporting, FED reports, HMC reports, Borrowing Schedule, etc.)
•    Assist in preparing information for Rating Agencies and underwriters for Secured (ABS) transactions
•    Execution of $30 billion unsecured debt issuance and related derivatives
•    Forecast (debt issuance schedule and ABS assumptions) and budget planning
•    Generate quarterly support for footnotes and review of footnotes for SEC reporting
•    Perform adhoc analysis relating to capital markets and treasury activities
•    Execution of Asset Liability Management (ALM) derivatives
 

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications 

 

•    BS in Accounting, Finance or Related Field
•    5+ Years of Auto Industry Experience 
•    5+ Years of Accounting Experience (CPA Preferred)

•    Knowledge of Economic/Financial Data/Analysis 
•    Knowledge of Bancware Lewtan, Savid, Hyperion Planning/Essbase

Additional Position Factors: 

•    Workstyle: (Remote 1 day, 4 days in office required)
•    Travel 10%

Grade Level Pay Base - $81,800-$122,700
Pay will be based on several variables that include, but not limited to work experience, education, etc.
