Position Summary:
We are seeking a
Data Catalog & Governance Architect
with deep expertise in Informatica CDGC/CDQ, Collibra, and related data governance platforms.
This role will design, implement, and operationalize data governance solutions that ensure compliance, quality, and effective metadata management across enterprise environments.
You will collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders, build governance dashboards, configure catalog and quality tools, and support compliance inquiries (SOX, CCPA, GDPR).
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in
data cataloging, metadata management, and data quality frameworks
within large-scale enterprise settings.
Daily Tasks Performed:
Implement
Cloud Data Catalog, Data Quality, and Metadata ingestion
processes
Build Catalog & Quality reports for domain/sub-domain governance & quality metrics
Develop and demonstrate
Data Governance dashboards
tailored for Data Owners, Data Stewards, Engineers, Privacy Officers, etc.
Collaborate with Business Data Owners, Technical Stewards, Platform Owners, and Project Managers
Set up and operate
Informatica CDGC Catalog, Dashboards, Scanners, Profiling, and Sampling
Support
PII Classification
, Informatica CLAIRE, and GenAI-based auto-classification
Produce
audit reports
to satisfy SOX, CCPA, and other compliance requirements
Define, operationalize, and support governance councils using Data Catalog tools
Support integration with BI tools (Informatica, Power BI, Tableau)
Required Skills:
Strong experience with
Informatica CDGC/CDQ, Erwin, Glue Data Catalog, Collibra, Alation
Hands-on expertise in
data modeling, metadata management, and large-scale governance
Knowledge of
entity-relationship modeling, metadata systems, data security, and quality tools
Ability to design
traditional/relational and big data architectures
Familiarity with BI tools such as Informatica, Power BI, and Tableau
Exceptional
communication, presentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills
Strong
analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proven ability to
guide solution design and architecture
to meet business needs
3+ years Big 4 consulting experience (preferred)
Stable work history with
large enterprise organizations
