We call our products tools for efficient living.The Opportunity We're looking for a highly energetic, assertive, and personable Sales Account Manager to join the Simplehuman Sales team. You'll own a portfolio of key retail accounts across mass, premium, and specialty retail and serve as the primary face of the brand with our most important retail partners.This is a role for someone who thrives on relationships, knows how to earn trust, and can speak about a product with the kind of conviction that moves buyers. You'll serve as the day-to-day point of contact, representing our brand at the highest level while driving revenue and securing meaningful placement. This is a fully on-site position based in our Torrance, CA office.What You'll Own Drive sales, volume, and profitability across your key retail account portfolio Serve as the primary relationship owner, from buyer to category manager to store-level contacts Lead account reviews, line presentations, and sell-in meetings with confidence and clarity Negotiate terms, pricing, and promotional programs that work for both sidesCommunicate our brand story compellingly and consistently across every touchpoint Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, ops, product) to deliver on account commitments Track account performance and proactively identify growth opportunities Represent the company at trade shows, market events, and retailer meetingsWhat We're Looking For 5-10 years of account management or sales experience, preferably in retail or consumer goods Proven track record of building and sustaining long-term client relationships Experience managing or supporting national retail accounts a strong plus Skilled negotiator comfortable advocating for your accounts while protecting company interestsA confident communicator who can speak to buyers, executives, and store-level teams with equal ease High emotional intelligence; personable, adaptable, and genuinely curious about people Proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Able to speak fluently about brand positioning, category trends, and retail dynamicsHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously About Simplehuman We're a mature company with the soul of a start-up.
