Swing Shift (selected candidates will train on 1st shift for approximately the first month before transitioning to swing shift.)

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Quality Control Technician
to join our team in
Tracy, CA.
This position plays a key role in maintaining food safety and quality standards within a fast-paced food production environment. The ideal candidate will help ensure compliance with USDA regulations, company policies, GMP standards, and overall product quality expectations.
The Quality Control Technician will work closely with production and sanitation teams to monitor processes, complete inspections, maintain accurate records, and support daily quality assurance activities. Candidates should be organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a refrigerated production environment.
Essential Duties&Responsibilities:
Inspect production areas and equipment prior to startup Conduct ATP and environmental swabbing to verify sanitation standards Perform GMP inspections and N60 testing Calibrate thermometers and record CCP temperature data Complete QC daily checklists and maintain accurate documentation Monitor employees for compliance with food safety and quality proceduresAssist with maintaining BRC standards and supporting third-party audits Utilize SOPs, Alchemy systems, and Microsoft Office programs Communicate quality concerns and assist in resolving production issues Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required 1 2 years of experience in food production, quality control, or manufacturing preferred Previous experience in a meat processing environment is a plus Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environment Bilingual Spanish is a plus
Physical Requirements&Work Environment:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move throughout the shift Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. As needed Comfortable working in cold production environments ranging from 30 50 F Ability to perform repetitive hand and keyboard tasks
