Senior Full Stack Security Network Engineer, New Jersey

Responsibilities:
Design and implement computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and security network measures, and other data communications networks.

Apply a comprehensive understanding of security applied to infrastructure and network technologies concepts including DMZ, Zero Trust Infrastructure, Secure Access Services Edge, Azure Cloud Networking, traditional routing, switching, firewalls, and security monitoring and management.

Lead engineer designing and implementing security network solutions and improving the cyber defenses of current infrastructure in the Rockefeller environment including branches, virtual data centers and 3rd party data centers.

Installing, configuring, and supporting security infrastructure equipment including ZTN, SASE, firewalls, routers, switches, wireless infrastructure, and voip phone systems.

Responsible for the security policies and cyber infrastructure development, test, pre-production, and production environments.

Develop and maintain security policies, infrastructure documentation and diagrams related to the RCM Network.

Provide Tier 3 Escalation support to Security Operations for troubleshooting and resolving security incidents, network and voip issues in a timely manner.

Function as a backup engineer to the Senior Network Engineer.

Review security infrastructure performance and monitoring ensuring the security infrastructure meets business objectives and SLAs.

Qualifications:
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems Security, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems or related field.

Must have five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience in design, implementation, and support of complex security, DMZ, and Zero Trust environments.

Must have 5 years of experience in Palo Alto technology.

Must have 4 years of experience in SDSWAN technology and working with security cloud providers.

Must have 4 years of experience securing cloud telephony providers.

Must have 4 years of experience securing Azure Cloud Networking, VPC/VNET Segmentation / Isolation, network security groups and rules, and network access control lists (ACLs).

Must have 4 years of experience with Microsoft Security Center (Sentinel, Cloud Security, and Defender).

Experience in security infrastructure related to routing/switching/wireless/voip topologies and associated protocols.

Experience in troubleshooting security infrastructure, Zero Trust systems, and SDN / SDDC / SD-WAN / SASE deployments.

Experience in: Python and powershell scripting experience for Security Network Automation; Triaging security network (firewalls, routing, switching, wireless) and VoIP related issues; and experience with Wireshark protocol traces.

Experience in Windows and Linux Administration (supporting security and network infrastructure).

Compensation Range:
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $163,197 to $175,000. Base salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. In addition, this role may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
