Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care following established policies and procedures.
• Effectively communicate within a collaborative care team.
• Welcome and prepare patients with a positive and caring demeanor.
• Coordinate and administer patient care with attentiveness and accuracy.
• Ensure patient safety and uphold privacy rights in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Record patient information, vital signs, and medical history accurately.
• Demonstrate proficiency in examination and treatment room procedures.
• Draw and collect blood samples, prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Perform routine tests as requested by the provider.
• Schedule and follow up on diagnostic testing for patients.
• Communicate test results to patients and establish care plans as directed.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record as per provider guidance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient exam rooms, sterilize instruments.
• Perform other duties as assigned .

Skills:

• Regular attendance during business hours is required.
• Proficient in medical terminology and abbreviations.
• Knowledgeable in medical practice for safe, quality patient care.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records.

Job Requirements: Experience / License / Certification / Education etc.

• High school diploma or equivalent; Certified Medical Assistant.
• Current AHA BLS Certification.
• Three months of previous experience in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
