No on-call or weekend work required
Required Qualifications
ARRT (R)(M) certification required
Valid New Jersey state licensure
Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in mammography (screening and diagnostic)
Strong knowledge of mammographic positioning, imaging techniques, and breast imaging protocols
Excellent patient communication and compassionate patient care skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a radiology team
Experience with GE mammography equipment preferred
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams according to established protocols and MQSA/ACR guidelines
Ensure accurate positioning and image acquisition for optimal radiologist interpretation
Provide patient education about procedures, address concerns, and ensure patient comfort during breast imaging
Operate and maintain mammography equipment, performing routine quality control and safety checks
Accurately document patient history, exam findings, and maintain records in compliance with HIPAA and facility policies
Collaborate with radiologists, breast surgeons, and clinical staff to support timely diagnosis and patient care
Adhere to regulatory and quality assurance requirements for clinical mammography services
