Commercial Maintenance Technician needed (Capital District) Position: Full-Time Commercial Maintenance Technician Well respected construction company, P&M Construction Inc, a general contractor, is seeking an experienced carpenter and/or laborer for a permanent position for commercial maintenance. For the last 20 years P&M Construction Inc. has been specializing in commercial maintenance for many local grocery stores, shopping centers, banks, restaurants, and other retail outlets. With many projects in the forecast, your talent and experience are needed! P&M's reputation and experience have given their staff the peace of mind that isn't common in today's times. With plenty of projects needed to be completed, P&M seeks the following: v

Valid Driver’s License v

Ability to pass a DOT physical v

Ability to fill out DVR and log books v

Flexible for day/night shifts v

Basic construction knowledge v

Must have basic hand tools v

Must have a working cell phone. v

Ability to communicate through email/text v

Ability to use app-based systems v

Ability to problem solve v

Ability to endure 10-hour days v

Ability to navigate from sites around NY, VT and NH v

Good customer relation skills v

Ability to stay out of town as needed. v

Must have OSHA 10 v

Ability to operate scissor lifts v

Ability to read and comprehend directions. v

Must be a team player. v

US Citizen v

English as a first language. Examples of duties but not limited to: v

Framing v

Painting v

Flooring v

Saw cutting v

Jack hammering v

Concrete repairs v

Commercial door

repair/installation v

Commercial door closer

installation/repair v

Drop ceiling

repair/installation v

Walk in freezer and cooler

installation/repair v

Gondola and warehouse racking

Demolition

Salary:

Maintenance Technician: $50,000- $60,000 based on experience
