Job Description:

This position is responsible for gaining information, insight, and trends on our safety data to drive safety improvement and reduce risk for the organization.

This role will need to be creative to look for new patterns and trends, sometimes taking a new perspective on existing solutions to improve performance, efficiency and safety.

The ability to manipulate and understand the data analyzed and resolve sophisticated problems are keys to success! Knowledge of Database, SQL, Power BI, data analysis, data mining, data transformation.

Responsibilities/Expectations:

Designs, develops, and implements databases, data collection systems and other strategies to optimize efficiency and quality

Acquires data from data sources to maintain our databases/data systems

Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in data sets

Reviews our metrics data and interprets results

Develops and generates reports and data visualization dashboards Collaborates with business partners to identify and interpret internal/external customer needs, assess requirements and identify responses.

1 - 3 years experience in oil & gas is required.

Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills

Demonstrated ability to analyze trends and identify process improvements

Experience in acquiring data from various sources to maintain databases/data systems.

Experience in developing and generating reports.

Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to identify and interpret customer needs, assess requirements, and identify responses.

Understanding of industry-specific safety regulations and standards is preferred.

Familiarity with advanced data analysis tools and software is preferred.

Demonstrated ability to analyze trends and identify irregularities is preferred.

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills is preferred.
