Tree Service Crew Member/Climber
We are currently hiring for Tree Service Crew Member/Climber positions.
This position requires a minimum of 3-5 years of tree climbing experience (private and/or residential/non-line clearance preferred) and is for an experienced and/or advanced climber.
Candidates MUST have a valid Driver License with a clean driving record and experience hauling trailers/equipment.
CDL Class B (no restrictions) or higher a plus.
Candidates should be enthusiastic, work well with others as a team, and be safety-oriented.
This job is safety-sensitive and applicants with a medical marijuana card will NOT be eligible for employment.
This job involves/requires:
Trimming and removing trees of all sizes
Well-versed in ANSI A300 and Z133 Standards
Climbing and rigging, including crane-assisted removals (must be familiar with SRT)
Bucket and grapple truck operation
Stump grinder, skid steer, and frequent chainsaw operation
Ability to lift at least ****** pounds regularly
Attention to detail and the ability to follow directions
Excellent communication/customer service skills
Focus on safety and teamwork and proper use of PPE
Proper jobsite set up/pre and post-jobsite walk through to assess risks and ensure customer satisfaction
Ability to work outdoors and handle extreme weather conditions
Obtaining CDL Class B (no restrictions) or higher
Familiarity with proper cabling techniques a plus
Please note that we specialize in Emergency Tree Response/Disaster Relief and crews may be dispatched to assist with tornado and hurricane relief efforts which require extended periods of travel.
Regularly scheduled work may require some Saturday work.
