Job Summary Atlas Survival Shelters is seeking a skilled and dependable Plumber to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for installing, assembling, testing, and troubleshooting plumbing systems inside custom underground bunkers and survival shelters. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced fabrication environment and coordinate with welding, electrical, carpentry, and finish-out crews to ensure high-quality production.Responsibilities Install water supply, drainage, vent, and sewage systems in steel bunker units Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and plumbing schematics Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipe using hand and power tools Install fixtures including sinks, toilets, showers, water heaters, pumps, and filtration systemsTest plumbing systems for leaks and proper operation Coordinate with carpentry, welding, and electrical departments during build process Troubleshoot plumbing issues and make necessary repairs or adjustments Ensure all work meets company quality standards and applicable plumbing codes Maintain clean and organized work areasFollow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements Qualifications Previous plumbing experience required Experience with residential, commercial, or industrial plumbing systems preferred Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Knowledge of PVC, PEX, copper, and drainage systemsComfortable working in a manufacturing/shop environment Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces when necessary Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Dependable attendance and positive attitude Team player willing to assist in multiple areas when needed Preferred ExperienceExperience with off-grid water systems, septic systems, or pump systems Welding or fabrication knowledge is a plus Experience working on custom projects or mobile units preferred Company Description instagram:
