Warehouse Associate
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, handling materials, and supporting shipping and receiving processes.
This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and the ability to operate various types of equipment safely.
Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and cranes for effective materials handling.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize operations and improve efficiency in warehouse distribution processes.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Qualifications
Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate order picking and packing.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 15 pounds) as required by the job duties.
Experience in manufacturing settings is a plus but not mandatory.
