Human Resources Director, Upland

We are seeking a
dynamic, hands-on Director of Human Resources (HRD or higher)
to lead and scale HR operations for a growing, multi-site, nationwide organization (4,000+ employees).
This is a high-impact role partnering closely with executive leadership in a fast-paced environment.
Key Requirements
Currently or most recently at
HR Director level or higher
Experience supporting
3,000+ nonexempt hourly employees
(required)
Proven experience in
multi-location, nationwide organizations
Hands-on expertise across:
Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Payroll
HRIS systems & reporting
Training & Development
Litigation support (PAGA, class action, EEOC, DIR)
Core Responsibilities
Lead all HR functions across multiple locations
Partner with executive leadership on workforce strategy
Oversee HRIS, compliance, and reporting
Drive recruiting, retention, and engagement strategies
Manage and develop HR teams across regions
Nice-to-Have
Automation and AI implementation
Offshore team structures
Data-driven decision making
M&A / due diligence experience
Exposure to EBITDA management
