Job Description The Contract Administrator manages the various documents concerning construction contracts for the Division dealing with the contractors as a coordinator between clients, project manager, and subcontractors. The job duties of the Contract Administrator range from general office to technical document compliance reviews; duties include contracts for purchase or sale of equipment, materials, product, and/or services. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: Skills and Requirements - Strong construction billing expertise, including progress billing, cost tracking, and compliance with contract billing structures. - Hands-on experience with construction management or ERP systems, such as Viewpoint, SAP, or comparable construction-focused platforms. - 2 years of applicable experience. - Advanced contract review skills, with the ability to interpret, analyze, and navigate both prime contracts and subcontracts. - In-depth knowledge of prevailing wage requirements, certified payroll reporting, and compliance with federal, state, and local labor regulations. - Strong understanding of contract language, including legal terminology, scope definitions, risk allocation, and performance obligations. - Working knowledge of contractual clauses, NDAs, and related legal documents, with the ability to identify obligations, restrictions, and potential risks. - Proven experience securing project funding, including insurance requirements, bonding processes, and pre-lien procedures - Confident, assertive communication style, with the ability to say no when necessary and stand firm on decisions. - Strong interpersonal presence, able to navigate difficult conversations while maintaining professionalism. - Familiarity with NDAs and confidentiality expectations, beyond basic contractual understanding. Willingness to work fully onsite, with consistent daily attendance and no need for hybrid or remote arrangements. - Highly coachable and receptive to feedback, with a positive attitude toward learning and continuous improvement. - Collaborative and easy to work with, contributing to a supportive and productive team environment.
