Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Contract Opportunity
Location: Vacaville, California
Assignment Length: 13-Week Contract with Option to Extend
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
No nights, weekends, or call requirements
A healthcare facility in Northern California is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment with strong potential for extension.

Position Responsibilities
Perform a variety of nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols.
Safely prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals.
Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment while ensuring quality imaging standards.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff to provide excellent patient care.
Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
Assist with molecular radiotherapy/theranostic procedures in addition to traditional diagnostic imaging.
Preferred Experience
Experience or comfort level with theranostics/molecular radiotherapy procedures preferred.
Familiarity with therapeutic nuclear medicine treatments such as Y-90 and I-131 strongly desired.
Strong patient care and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Requirements
ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification required.
Active California licensure required (or ability to obtain quickly).
Previous nuclear medicine experience required.
BLS certification required.
Additional Details
Travel stipend available for candidates residing 50+ miles outside of Vacaville.
