As a
Field Foreman , you are responsible for leading the daily site construction work efforts to ensure the crew meets production goals determined by leadership. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you're up for the challenge. In addition, you will: Understand and implement MasTec Communications Group's Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies (Safety Manual)Understand and implement Industry standards (OSHA, TIA10-48, NATE CTS, and ANSI) Ensure safety requirements at your sites and with your crew Oversee the daily operations and quality of work performed at assigned sites Maintain daily paperwork required for the site and the crew Implement and follow through with job instructions provided by leadershipCompile all site-specific closeout documentation for your work effort Upload closeout documentation to customer interfaces Coordinate with the customer representative for site-related activities and maintain a good working relationship with the customer representative Provide leadership, guidance, and actively train/promote learning to all crew membersAlways maintain equipment and vehicles in operational condition Validate daily timesheets for Management Conduct other duties as assigned
Qualifications
About You: Safety is a part of your day-to-day You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work You are looking for long-term projects You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your teamYou have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and a technical degree is preferred You have at least 5 years of industry experience Possessing a WSA certification is a plus Must be at least 21 years old You have demonstrated expertise in construction skills, rigging, safety, and general industry knowledgeYou possess job-related certifications, like First Aid, Safety, and Rescue You have the ability to operate aerial lifts, man lifts, skid steers, and aerial platform equipment You must be able to read and interpret site plans, RFDS, construction drawings, and SOW You must be able to pick up to 50 lbs., and be capable of working up to 12 hoursYou have the ability to identify and distinguish colors You possess 10+ years of experience You have possession of OSHA 10 You have excavator training You have a valid driver's license (Applicants are subject to a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review and must meet company standards for a safe driving record)Compensation of $37-$40 per hour, depending on the experience.
