Job Title: Panel Line Builder Job Description The Panel Line Builder fabricates and assembles aluminum panel structures using cutting equipment and fastening tools. This role focuses on accurately cutting panels, interpreting drawings, and performing mechanical assembly to build high-quality components for industrial boiler and dry kiln systems.Responsibilities
Operate basic cutting equipment to cut aluminum panels to specified dimensions. Read and interpret drawings and blueprints to determine appropriate layouts and cutting patterns. Use fastening tools, including riveting, bolting, and screwing equipment, to securely attach panels to structural frameworks.Perform mechanical assembly of panel structures according to established specifications and quality standards. Set up, operate, and monitor machine tools and equipment used in the fabrication process. Work with press brakes, tooling, and dies as required to form and shape materials. Inspect completed work for accuracy, fit, and finish, making adjustments as needed.Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with team members to complete fabrication projects efficiently and on schedule. Essential Skills
Ability to operate basic cutting equipment for aluminum panels. Proficiency in using fastening tools such as riveters, bolt guns, and screw guns. Experience with mechanical assembly of panel or structural components. Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints to determine layouts. Basic machine operation skills in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.Familiarity with press brake operation, including the use of tooling and dies. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications accurately. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, twist, kneel, and periodically lift up to 50 pounds. Experience working in a fabrication shop or industrial manufacturing environment. Comfort working with aluminum and other metals in a production setting. The shop can be hot in the summer and cool in the winter, and the environment is loud due to ongoing fabrication work. You will be on your feet throughout the day and perform frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, and other physical movements. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically while working with fabrication equipment and materials.Job Type&Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
