Financial Analyst 2, California

Payrate: $39.00 - $44.00/hr.

Responsibilities:

Analyze, verify, dispute financial data/invoices and present material in a professional manner.

Track, measure, report, and support Internal Management (Warehouse, Contracting, and Finance) and external service providers (3PL’s) in regard to all aspects of cost management and analytics.

Develop, implement, and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures related to cost management of warehouse operations.

Communicate with the vendors to collect invoices and necessary backups, to reconcile issues, and to pay them timely and fairly.

Prepare cost analysis on warehouse operations and logistics costs for use within warehouse management.

Improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, and identifying trends.

Participate in annual budget planning and cost saving activities in corporation with each unit part team.

Issue Risk Management and support ad-hoc reports as directed by the management.

Create supporting material, analytics, and presentations for management reviews and meetings.

 

Requirements:

This position requires a strong analytical background with the ability to analyze, verify, dispute financial data/invoices and present material in a professional manner.

Demonstrated success in collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze problems, gathering information, generating options, and driving action.

Accustomed to working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and could work under time pressure.

Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Finance, Operations Management with 7+ years of relevant experience.

Knowledge of key supply chain/logistics processes and current best practices.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and create original analyses.

Strong interpersonal and consensus building skills.

Previous experience using SAP WMS is desired.

Strong skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, focused on Excel and PowerPoint, are desired.

CPA preferred.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $39.00 - $44.00/hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select.  Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.  Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
