About the Job
Key Responsibilities:
Manages AR/AP: Ensures all financial transactions are recorded accurately for reporting.
Oversees Financial Cycles: Leads month-end and year-end closings, manages reconciliations, and prepares for audits.
Analyzes Financial Data: Monitors accounting information, identifies areas for improvement, and drives solutions.
Leads the Team: Provides direction to the accounting staff, enforces compliance, and promotes operational excellence.
Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience: Eight or more years in accounting with at least two years in a leadership position.
Technical Skills: Must be adept in advanced Excel functionalities; experience with ERP systems like Vista or Spectrum is advantageous.
Additional Requirements:
The candidate must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Must Have:
General Ledger Experience, Supervisory Experience, 8+ years in accounting field
Nice to Have:
Bilingual English and Spanish
