Property Tax Litigation Paralegal, Wildwood

Growing real estate tax appeal law firm providing superior legal services to a property tax appeal company that has been in business for 50 years seeking a full-time permanent litigation paralegal. The firm is a team-oriented, deadline driven business that prides itself on client first culture and high-quality services. The primary duties of the position are: supporting a minimum of 4 attorneys; calendaring for court dockets and discovery; document management and organization; drafting, reviewing, and analyzing legal documents such as pleadings, subpoenas, summons, and correspondence; compiling information for discovery responses for example interrogatories and request to produce documents, pleadings, motions, depositions, and trials; tracking case progress, deadlines, and court dates; filing petitions, summons, and pleadings; manage and oversee billing and light accounting functions within a CLIO law office management software. Qualified candidates will have: Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate (a certificate may be required base on region, state, or client requirements); at least 5 years of traditional substantive litigation support work experience; knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel spreadsheet required, Outlook, Word); strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities; ability to multi-task; and experience with the management of large documents. Real estate or property tax experience a plus. Competitive salary range.
