Night Auditor Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront | Shamin Hotels Are you dependable, detail-oriented, and at your best when others are winding down? At Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront, we are looking for a Night Auditor who takes pride in delivering excellent guest service while keeping the hotel's overnight operations accurate, organized, and secure.As a Night Auditor, you are the overnight face of the hotel. You will welcome late arrivals, assist current guests, balance daily transactions, and help prepare the property for a smooth start to the next day. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems calmly, and creating a positive guest experience every time.What You'll Do
Welcome guests with a warm, professional, and service-focused attitude Complete guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and reservations Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns promptly and courteously Balance and reconcile daily hotel revenue, payments, and reports Perform the nightly audit and ensure all financial transactions are accuratePrepare required reports for management and the next day's operations Maintain front desk organization, cleanliness, and brand presentation Monitor hotel activity overnight and follow security and safety procedures Communicate important notes, guest issues, and operational updates to the day teamSupport a positive team environment and represent the hotel professionally at all times What We're Looking For
Prior hotel front desk, night audit, guest service, or cash-handling experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Good computer skills and ability to learn hotel systems Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers Ability to work independently and stay organized during overnight shiftsDependable attendance and punctuality Professional demeanor and problem-solving mindset Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Why Join Shamin Hotels

Essential Job Functions: Performs all audit procedures as set forth by the Hotel and company, on a daily basis. Performs and attributes all required audit reports. Verifies the status of all wake-up call requests and ensures they are properly handled. Balances all cash receipts and work performed during the audit shift.Prepares the front office for the 'A' shift and reset days business. Acts as a Guest Service representative during the night time hours. Acts as the manager on duty during the night time hours. Attends and actively participates in all front office meetings. Participates in all training and cross training programs.Acts as PBX operator during the audit shift. Assists breakfast attendants by setting up breakfast areas as needed. Performs other related duties as required. Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner. Reports to work for scheduled shifts, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.
