Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum
- Monitor and assess the health status of patients and their babies
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Assist with labor and delivery procedures, including cesarean sections
- Educate patients and their families on postpartum care and newborn care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- BLS and NRP certification required
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing
- Associate or a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree.
