Huron Law Group is hiring a Consumer Debt Defense Attorney in Sunny California!
Huron Law Group is an established and rapidly growing national debt defense law firm focused on providing cost-effective legal representation to consumers.
Our firm is currently seeking a remote, full-time attorney, licensed in the state of California, to provide representation and limited-scope legal assistance to consumer clients involved in debt collection lawsuits.

Qualifications
Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
At least 5 years of prior civil litigation experience
Experience in high-volume consumer debt defense and/or collections preferred
Key Accountabilities
Represent and defend clients in collection cases initiated by original creditors or debt buyers and, for clients who engage the firm in a narrower capacity, provide limited-scope legal assistance, including reviewing and editing pro se answer drafts prepared by the firm's paralegals.
This position will rarely require complex litigation and/or attendance at final hearings, as clients are enrolled in a debt resolution program, and typically desire to settle through voluntary payment arrangements with the creditors.
Where in-person attendance at a hearing becomes necessary, local hearing attorneys may be utilized.
