Responsibilities:
Assists Senior Engineers and Leaders with projects of significant scope that require cross-functional participation and have global impact and may affect policy changes company-wide.

Use modern manufacturing techniques and tools to solve manufacturing problems identified in the factory.

Analyzes data and work-flows to determine “data-driven” courses of action.

Assists Senior Engineers and Leaders to further define, develop, and document roles and responsibilities within the Manufacturing team.

Qualifications:
Must Haves

Enrollment in an engineering program working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Materials Science equivalent.

Minimum of a Junior in chosen degree program

Willing to work with international suppliers/manufacturing and different cultures

Strong problem-solving/analytical skills

Excellent communication, interpersonal and intercultural skills

Strong Pluses

Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and other computer applications.

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma concepts
