IT Project Manger

Location; Carlsbad , CA

JOB DESCRIPTION

Collaborate with the IT leadership team in managing IT project portfolio.

Enable processes to monitor resources and budget for projects.

Build Project Plans and execute on project delivery following the IT Project Management methodologies.

Determine the project approach, resource responsibilities, and schedule.

Measure and monitor progress at clearly defined points in the process to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, balance scope, schedule, quality, and risks.

Participate in month-end financial processes.

Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.

Discuss and document business processes.

Participate in other cross-functional process improvement projects as necessary.

Analyze the business objectives of various stakeholders in the company, outline and develop a solutions plan, and work with management and development resources to prioritize accordingly.

Coordinate projects and requirements across separate technical and functional teams to ensure effective delivery of solutions.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in an IT, Business Administration, Finance, Project Management or a related field.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Experience in data analysis.

Excellent time management and communication skills.

High attention to detail and an analytic mind.

Hard worker, self-starter, and team player.

Customer-focused attitude.

Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans.

Preferred:

Project Management Institute - Project Management Professional (PMP)

Knowledge of various project management methodologies (agile / scrum / waterfall)

Proficient with process mapping, analysis, flow charting and requirements document creation
