Description
We are seeking an attorney to work with our Carlsbad, CA office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney with 1+ year of litigation experience to grow their practice in a collaborative and supportive environment. While prior employment law experience is preferred, it is not required.

The ideal candidate will have experience handling various aspects of civil litigation, including drafting and responding to discovery, drafting and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions. We are looking for individuals eager to develop their skills in employment law, guided by experienced mentors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Litigate and defend a diverse range of employment-related claims, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour disputes, and agency charges.

Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.

Take and defend depositions, and prepare for and participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.

Provide strategic advice and counsel on employment law issues.

Collaborate with senior attorneys to deliver top-tier legal services to our clients.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.

Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.

At least 1+ year of civil litigation experience; employment law experience is strongly preferred.

Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to handle multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

A proactive, self-motivated approach with a desire to work both independently and within a team.
