Associate Attorney, Walnut Creek

Our client, an established law firm, is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Associate Attorney with over 5 years of experience in asbestos or toxic tort litigation.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in complex legal matters and have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
Take and defend expert and witness depositions to gather critical information for litigation.
Draft original motions and other litigation-related documents in complex matters, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Prepare discovery requests and responses to be exchanged with opposing parties, managing the exchange of information effectively.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships through both oral and written communication.
Assist with trial preparation, including the drafting of motions in limine, exhibit lists, and witness lists to ensure readiness for court proceedings.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in asbestos or toxic tort litigation is required.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top law school.
Active California State Bar License.
Demonstrated ability to work in a billable work environment.
A self-motivated, high-energy individual who is willing to do whatever it takes to meet deadlines and deliver results.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a sharp attention to detail.
