Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Power BI Developer
to join our team supporting PG&E.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports, with a solid understanding of data modeling and visualization best practices.
While not required, experience with
PowerApps
and
Power Automate (Power Landing)
is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
Optimize data models for performance and scalability.
Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
Provide support and troubleshooting for existing BI solutions.
(Optional)
Assist with PowerApps and Power Automate workflows if applicable.
Qualifications
Experience:
6-8 years of professional experience in BI development, with a focus on Power BI.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling).
Experience with SQL and relational databases.
Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration.
Preferred Skills:
Exposure to PowerApps and Power Automate.
Knowledge of Azure services related to data and analytics.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
