We are seeking a reliable and physically fit CDL Class A Driver to safely operate tractor trailer and flatbed trucks primarily carrying general freight. This role involves servicing local, regional, and long-haul routes with a focus on day trips only. The ideal candidate will work independently, using mobile communication apps to stay in touch and navigate efficiently.

Responsibilities Operate tractor trailer and flatbed trucks safely on local, regional, and long-haul routes Secure loads to ensure safe and compliant transportation of general freight Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with regulationsDeliver freight punctually and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies Maintain physical fitness to meet the demands of vehicle operation and load handling Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups

Required Qualifications At least 1 year of experience in commercial driving

Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A Experience with CDL Class A driving, including route navigation and load securing techniques Knowledge of safety regulations applicable to commercial vehicle operation Proficiency in vehicle inspection and maintenance proceduresStrong time management and communication skills Physical stamina suitable for the demands of the role
