Volunteer Event Manager, Fort Myer

Job Description The Volunteer Event Manager will support the Community Impact group by leading the end-to-end execution of employee volunteer events across North America. This role is highly hands-on and execution-focused, responsible for planning, setting up, managing, and closing out multiple volunteer events each week. The ideal candidate is a seasoned event manager with strong instincts, a proactive mindset, and the ability to independently manage logistics in fast-moving environments. We are looking for someone to support comprehensive event coordination and execution across the US and Canada. You will manage scheduling, planning, logistics, room bookings, volunteer sign-ups, and operational coordination with nonprofits and third-party partners. Minimum 4 years of experience in event coordination, program operations, or a similar role ? Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent events and campaigns ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills ? Proficiency with event management platforms and data tracking systems ? Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Experience coordinating logistics including venue management and stakeholder communications ? Experience with corporate volunteering programs or community engagement initiatives ? Experience working with nonprofit partners and community organizations Experience with volunteer management
