Manufacturing Engineering Lead, Connecticut

As a Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. 

Responsibilites:

Lead collaboration with Business and Enterprise Supply Chain teams to establish site strategies that create cost effective products and processes, provide superior customer service, and align to the site’s overall operating plan.

Lead a diversified team of engineers to identify, prioritize, and execute improvement plans aligned to assets, business, and process within the site.

Identify and champion the execution of high impact Value Stream Improvement Plans (VSIPs) to drive improvement in key business performance metrics (Productivity leading to $TVOS, Conversion Cost, Yield, Direct & Indirect expenses, OTIF, LTA, Inventory etc.).

Champion the identification, justification, and completion of critical CAPEX projects driving safety, quality, service, cost and technology improvement, including the development of a comprehensive site Continuous Improvement and technology deployment plan.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)

Five (5) years of combined experience of Healthcare and or Pharma manufacturing, engineering or quality in a private, public, government or military environment

Three (3) years of experience in a leadership and/or supervisory role in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

Lean Six Sigma and/or Lean certification(s)

Experience leading and implementing Lean Manufacturing Principles and Six Sigma Methodology for sustained continuous improvement

Experience leading high performing cross functional teams

Experience working with multiple stakeholder groups on VS improvements

Experience with Healthcare Manufacturing
