About the Role
The Company is seeking a Banking Operations Specialist to take on a lead role in their branch.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a team player, and will embrace the company's vision and values to provide outstanding leadership and customer service.
Responsibilities for this role include processing and servicing various banking operations such as deposits, ACH, wire, mobile banking, check processing, and debit/credit card services.
The successful candidate will also be involved in the Treasury Management department, ensuring the accuracy of all documents and files, and maintaining a strong internal control and compliance posture.
Applicants for the Banking Operations Specialist position at the company should have a minimum of 3 years' direct experience in banking operations within a bank or credit union setting.
AAP certification is preferred, or the ability to obtain it.
The role requires experience in working across departments with a focus on customer service, payments, compliance, treasury management, and fraud.
Familiarity with ACH services, wire, mobile banking, RDC, and check processing, as well as with debit/credit card services, is essential.
The candidate should be a go-getter with a teamwork mentality, ready to actively participate in the day-to-day duties of bank operations, and have a strong desire to be part of a great community banking family.
