Senior Storage Engineer

As a Senior Storage Engineer at CyberPoint, you will serve as a technical expert supporting the design, implementation and optimization of enterprise storage environments. You will lead efforts across NetApp-based solutions and other storage technologies, ensuring high availability, performance and scalability within mission-critical systems.This position is 100% onsite and requires an active TS/SCI+FSP Security Clearance. Qualifications What You'll Need US Citizenship TS/SCI + Full Scope Polygraph Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 12 years of experience supporting programs of similar scope, type and complexityExtensive hands-on experience with NetApp storage solutions (required) Strong experience with SAN and NAS technologies Knowledge of storage protocols: NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, S3 and Fiber Channel Experience with backup technologies such as Veritas NetBackup, Cohesity, Rubrik or CommVault Proven experience with capacity planning, performance tuning and storage optimizationExperience supporting data center migrations and replication technologies Strong understanding of hardware and performance concepts (RAID, I/O, CPU, memory, networking) Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols and networking fundamentals Experience integrating storage with virtualization platforms (VMware, Nutanix, OpenStack)Understanding of security best practices and federal compliance frameworks (FISMA, STIG, etc) CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent for DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliance) Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment What Will Set You Apart Experience supporting large-scale, multi-data center environmentsBackground in high availability architecture and storage resilience strategies Experience working in federal or mission-critical environments Proven ability to lead complex technical efforts and provide strategic guidance
