This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional or a high-performing Accounting Manager or Assistant Controller ready to step into a leadership position
Seasonal four-day workweek for half the year (May–October)
Stable and experienced team with overlap from the outgoing Controller for a smooth transition
Significant focus on process modernization and operational improvement

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and onboarding of a 3-person team
Lead month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare financial statements and manage the annual audit with a focus on accuracy and clean outcomes
Ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely financial reporting
Identify and implement process and systems improvements
Partner with leadership to support financial planning and operational decision-making
Qualifications:
5+ years of accounting oversight experience, including managing a team
Experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager
Background in a country club or similar hospitality environment is highly preferred
Strong audit, process improvement, and systems implementation experience
