Senior Reporting Analyst/Accountant

The Senior Accountant will oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, issue, and analyze customer billing.
Post incoming customer payments, ensuring prompt payment is received.
Coordinate the timely receipt of customer reporting.
Financial Reporting and Analysis
Ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to management regarding financial performance, variances, and trends.
General Accounting
Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules and depreciation.
Manage the recording and amortization of program rights.
Review licensor contracts and extract financial terms for accurate accounting.
Compliance and Controls
Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory requirements.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
Team Leadership
Collaborate with other departments to support overall business goals and objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in general accounting and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
