Plant Controller, Wichita

Dizario Search is conducting a search for a
Plant Controller
located ~30 minutes north of Wichita, KS.
This opportunity is with a well-established global manufacturing organization supporting a smaller plant operation where this individual will serve as the lead finance partner for the facility.
The
Plant Controller
will work closely with plant leadership to support financial performance, operational decision-making, cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities across the site.
Plant Controller Responsibilities:
Partner directly with plant leadership to support operational and financial performance initiatives
Lead budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and financial reporting activities for the facility
Analyze manufacturing cost variances related to labor, material, freight, scrap, and inventory
Support cost reduction initiatives and provide financial analysis to improve plant performance
Monitor plant spending and ensure compliance with internal financial controls and procedures
Support inventory accuracy, fixed asset analysis, and capital expenditure tracking
Assist with standard cost analysis and financial evaluation of new products and projects
Provide financial insight and decision support to plant operations leadership
Plant Controller Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
5+ years of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, or plant accounting experience
Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and plant financial performance drivers
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and month-end close processes
Strong Excel and analytical skills
Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and plant leadership teams
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
