Job Title: Director, Data Analytics

Job Description:

 The Director of Data Analytics will lead the design and execution of data-driven strategies to enhance business performance. This includes managing a team of analysts, creating impactful analytics solutions, and collaborating across departments to identify needs and deliver insights that drive smarter decisions.

 Responsibilities:

 

Set a strategy for how the company uses data and analytics to improve business.

Analyze large sets of data and create easy-to-understand reports, charts, and dashboards that help leaders make better decisions.

Build predictive models (like forecasting tools) to help the company plan or solve problems.

Work closely with different teams  such as marketing, product, or finance to understand their goals and help them use data to be more effective.

Data Governance: Make sure the data is accurate and well-managed, with clear rules on how it's used.

Lead a team of analysts and data scientists—help them grow, guide their work, and make sure projects stay on track.

Manage the budget for the analytics department and decide how to spend resources.

Stay up to date on the latest tools and techniques in data analytics and bring those ideas into the company.

Explain complex ideas in simple terms to people who aren’t data experts.

 Requirements: 

Experience leading a team of data analysts.

A history of using data to help business grow or solve problems.

Strong skills in analyzing data and turning it into useful insights.

Great communication skills to work with leaders and other departments.

Ability to manage several projects at once.

Experience with things like data modeling, statistics, or machine learning.

Understanding of data privacy and data quality rules.

A strong grasp of how businesses work and what they need from data.

Ideally, a degree in a field like computer science, math, or statistics—and at least 8 years of experience working with data.
