Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive financial analysis of labor, staff augmentation, and other direct costs associated with government projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project budgets.
Prepare and submit accurate, timely invoices for U.S. and international government contracts,
ensuring full compliance with FAR, contract clauses, billing schedules, and any country- specific requirements.
Maintain and monitor detailed project budgets, track actuals vs. forecast, identify cost variances, and provide financial insights to leadership.
Support internal and external audits by gathering supporting documentation and preparing responses to inquiries.
Assist in the development and analysis of indirect costs in accordance with applicable government guidelines and cost principles.
Provide support in procedural updates and documentation development.
Perform other accounting and financial assignments as needed, including special projects, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor s degree or 10 years Accounting/Finance experience in lieu of degree.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Desired Characteristics:
Knowledge/experience working with government contracts.
Previous experience supporting government audit.
