Trillium Professional is hiring a Manual Machinist (Lathe&Milling) in the greater Wilmington Area, NC (On-site).
Pay rate is $26.00 - $40.00/hour (Based on Experience). Schedule is 7:00am - 5:30pm | Consistent 40-50 hour weeks with overtime available.
Trillium Professional is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist proficient in both Lathe and Milling operations to join a premier precision manufacturing facility. As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of manual lathes and milling machines to produce high-quality components to exact specifications. You will use your technical expertise to ensure the accuracy and craftsmanship that our client’s customers expect.
Key Responsibilities: -Set up and operate various manual lathe and milling machines. -Read and interpret blueprints, job tickets, and technical production drawings. -Verify dimensions and tight tolerances using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.). -Load, indicate, and accurately secure parts to fixtures.-Monitor tool wear and perform routine machine maintenance. -Collaborate with team members and leadership to maintain an efficient and safe workflow.
Facility&Equipment -Our client maintains an extensive and diverse shop floor, ensuring you have the right tools for every job: -Manual Equipment: Features high-precision Timemaster, Clausing-Metosa, and Acer vertical milling and engine lathes. -State-of-the-Art Support: Access to automated laser systems, waterjets, and a climate-controlled QC lab featuring CMM and high-end gauging.-Fabrication: Full complement of advanced TIG/MIG welding units, production band saws, and surface grinders.

What We’re Looking For -Experience: 3-5+ years of hands-on manual machining experience (Lathe and Mill). -Technical Skills: Strong understanding of manual machining processes, tool selection, and tolerances. -Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read and translate detailed technical drawings into finished parts.-Physicality: Ability to stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment and work occasional Saturdays as production requires.
