Description
- Pre-Run Preparation: Reviewing production schedules and technical specs, doing pre-operation safety checks, and setting the machine's initial speed, temperature, or dimension controls.
- Machine Operation: Feeding raw material into the equipment (e.g., metal blanks, bulk flour, plastics) and constantly monitoring the machine to ensure it is running smoothly and at peak efficiency.
- Quality Assurance (QA) Control: Stopping the machine at scheduled intervals to test output quality, checking weights, widths, or seals, and logging data into quality management software.
- Minor Maintenance & Cleaning: Lubricating moving parts, clearing jams safely using proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, and performing deep-clean washdowns of the machinery between product changes.
- Output Tracking & Communication: Documenting hourly/daily production totals, reporting downtime reasons, and cleanly handing off machine settings and notes to the operator taking over the next shift.
