About the Role A manufacturing company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in designing and optimizing large machinery involving motion. This role involves mechanical system design, 3D modeling, and hands-on problem-solving to ensure efficient manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities Design & Development: Create and optimize mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
Technical Documentation: Develop technical drawings, blueprints, BOMs, and reports.
Precision & Quality: Apply GD&T principles to achieve exact tolerances and accuracy.
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to align designs with manufacturing capabilities.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical system issues using hands-on problem-solving techniques.
Must-Have Qualifications 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or a hands-on mechanical role.
Experience in engineering large machinery involving motion.
Proficiency in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and mechanical design principles.
Demonstrated real-world experience with mechanical systems, machinery, or fabrication processes.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience with machinery and automation systems.
Knowledge of AutoCAD.
Hands-on experience with building or modifying mechanical systems, including automobile modifications.
