What You'll Do:
Relate Search has partnered with a global manufacturing organization in their search for a Controller to lead financial operations for a key production site.
This role serves as the senior finance partner to plant leadership, owning all accounting, reporting, and cost management functions while helping optimize business performance.
The Controller will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency, strengthening financial controls, and supporting strategic decisions through actionable analysis.
This is an opportunity to influence both day-to-day plant performance and long-term process improvements across the business.
Responsibilities:
Lead all plant accounting operations including month-end close, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and KPI analysis.
Partner closely with site leadership to improve operational performance through cost analysis, cash flow management, and financial insights.
Ensure compliance with corporate internal controls, GAAP standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
Oversee capital investment tracking, product costing accuracy, and financial support for manufacturing operations.
Manage and develop the site accounting team while driving continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes.
Qualifications:
5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including prior leadership responsibilities.
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with strong cost accounting expertise.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities including lookups, pivot tables, formulas, and financial modeling.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems, GAAP, inventory accounting, and plant finance operations.
