Location: North Grafton, Massachusetts Salary: $26.00 - $30.00 Job Category: Light Industrial CoWorx is seeking Production Technicians in the North Grafton, MA area! This position is on-site at the facility in North Grafton, MA. This is NOT a remote opportunity. The position is responsible for routine MFG and R and D fiber drawing of existing and new fiber optic products. In manufacturing, setup and operation of the fiber draw tower and ancillary equipment are the primary focus of the position. This is a manufacturing position with intermittent exposure to engineering and R and D functions. Training on days for 6 months: 6:00am– 4:00pm, Mon – Thurs After training: 6:00pm – 6:00am, Mon – Thurs Direct Hire Opportunity!Responsibilities: Physical setup and operation of draw tower and equipment to produce a diversity of products. Operational monitoring of production runs. Documentation of process setup, running and product performance. Communication with engineering and employees in other departments is required. Applies technical skills and observation to resolve process issues/variability. Follows oral and written instructions to achieve manufacturing schedule.Desired Background/Skills: Must be at least 18 years of age. Hands on mechanical experience in manufacturing. Experience with documentation/database entry. Machine setup is a plus. Flexibility to maintain production schedule.
