Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,634–$2,771 per week - Guaranteed hours: 0.0 - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 4×10-hour day shifts - Start date: May 26, 2026 - Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital (travel assignment) Responsibilities - Provide intraoperative first-assist support as RNFA, with experience in ortho, ortho totals, gyn, and generalsurgery. - Assist surgeon with exposure, tissue handling, suturing, hemostasis, and wound closure; scrub and circulate; maintain sterile field. - Prepare operating room and equipment; verify counts; assist with patient positioning; manage instrumentation and specimen handling. - Monitor patient status during surgery; communicate with anesthesia team; document intraoperative events; ensure patient safety and accurate handoffs. - Collaborate with the surgical team to optimize turnover and workflow; participate in quality and safety practices; adhere to annual surgeon review processes. - Documentperioperative care and ensure accurate records for postoperative handoff and continuity of care.
