Corporate Paralegal

Location

Westborough, MA

Hours:

Monday– Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Position Duties:

Perform basic litigation functions such as assisting in-house attorneys and outside counsel with collection of documents in response to discovery requests, acting as a liaison between Law Department and business“clients”, and responding to non-party subpoenas.

Conduct research on regulatory matters as needed.

Assist attorneys with general corporate matters, including the drafting and review of confidentiality agreements, service agreements, and purchase order terms and conditions.

Assist with management of legal entities, including filing of annual reports.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail required.

Must be able to work independently.

Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Westlaw.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree.

5 or more years of paralegal experience

Experience managing litigation, regulatory, minor contractual matters, and general corporate matters (including entity compliance).

Prior in-house experience, preferably with a retailer.

Paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program.

Pay Rate:

$45 - 50/ hour– Depending in Experience
