General Production Worker
The Production Operator plays a crucial role in the warehouse, moving materials and completing various support tasks. This includes assisting in loading, unloading, recording, arranging, routing, transporting, and staging materials or products. Additionally, the role involves filling orders, preparing items for shipment, and maintaining stock records in the warehouse. The operator will also input information into an ERP system or other databases.Responsibilities
Support and promote a culture of safety by demonstrating appropriate safety behaviors and caring for others. Complete assigned online safety courses. Correctly receive all incoming materials into the warehouse, storing them according to specifications. Verify packing lists for entry into SAP. File batch retains and discard old retains according to company guidelines.Provide Certificates of Analysis (COAs) on inks as required. Assist and support daily production and shipping activities to meet the daily branch order processing schedule. Assist and support the RSC manager with daily production planning and activities. Assist and support the RSC Manager in training employees.Participate in RCRA Awareness and satellite waste accumulation, including container selection, labeling, and dating. Periodically remove satellite waste containers and deliver them to the storage area. Perform scheduled housekeeping as assigned by the department supervisor or RSC manager. Participate in annual RCRA Training, including Emergency Coordinator refresher, Contingency Plan training, and RCRA hazardous waste training.Follow spill and emergency response procedures. At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and write in English. Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. Experience with forklift operation. Proficiency with SAP and ERP systems.Additional Skills&Qualifications
ERP/SAP experience is a plus. Work Environment
The environment has a strong chemical smell, with low to moderate noise levels in the office area and moderate to high noise levels in the manufacturing/lab area. The team consists of a small group of five individuals, and the role involves moving objects within the manufacturing areas. Job Type&Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shrewsbury, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
